Vision system to probe angles at various portions of the Windshield Wiper Arm. Windshield Wiper arm needs to be inspected to ensure bents are as per the design criteria. As angle measurement is not an easy process to do it manually, this system provides an easy measurement method based on vision. The operator loads the wiper in 3-Axis movable stage and starts the test. The system will move the wiper arm mounted stage to required positions (defined during model addition) and Image the wiper portions. After capturing images of required portions, resulting angles from the vision system will be displayed to the operator. From the results, the operator knows if the production machine needs reconfiguration to meet design angles.
